Antique Sudlow Burslem English Sterling Silver Overlay Sugar Bowl and Creamer, Original Labels

Absolutely wonderful antique English Sudlow Burslem spring green creamer and sugar with intricate sterling silver overlay designs. These both even have their original labels. Silver overlay on china and porcelain was an extremely difficult process to do, and is not often seen on china and ceramics. This set is truly stunning! Although this set has age crazing, to me that simply adds to the vintage charm of the pieces---Contrary to what some mistakenly believe, crazing is NOT "damage", it is simply a result of the aging process differential between the glaze and the surface of the actual base porcelain or pottery ware--one slightly expands over time more than the other, causing a delicate network of crazing in the surface coating---as you might also see in antique paintings where the shellac or varnish surface has crackled. (This was explained to me by a professional pottery expert) It has nothing to do with cracks or damage, period. I personally enjoy the uniqueness and beauty of the "aged" elements.

Measurements:
Sugar bowl: 3 1/2" tall by 4" across
Creamer: 3 1/2" tall by 4" from spout to opposite rim.

Condition as follows: Excellent, no cracks, chips, wear, probably was never used since each still has its own original label. Crazing throughout both pieces inside and out. Super detailed and beautiful pattern. Marked Sudlow's Burslem Made in England.
Both pieces have original labels reading "925, Sterling Silver by Roder"
