SO Stevie Fantastic Vintage 70s-80s Silk Chiffon Goddess Dress / The Silk Farm Designed by Icinoo / Golden Threads / Twirly Chiffon Skirt

Utterly FABULOUS and so very Stevie 100% silk chiffon super-floaty, flowing, superb shimmery late 70's-early 80's dress in , this beauty is just scrumptious with its exquisite satin block-striped sheer chiffon sparked with threads of glittering metallic gold, overprinted with a border design of deep purple, pink and blue flowers. Be sure to view the video so you can see how gorgeous the fabric is! Icinoo/The Silk Farm dresses were sold in only the top high-end stores back in the day. Such a timeless, beautiful and wearable style, with a flaring full circle skirt cut on the bias for maximum draping and floatiness! This full skirt has a solid black silk crepe flounced skirt under it to maximize the flowing beauty of the overskirt. The bodice is also beautifully made, with a spaghetti-strap silk underbodice overlaid with a slightly blouson top/big fluttery kimono/batwing sleeves. Slightly raised waistline, separate 60" silk chiffon sash/belt (not shown) Silk Farm dresses are highly sought after by vintage clothing collectors because of the high quality of the silk fabric and wonderful ethereal designs; this is a prime example and in excellent condition! I'm a degreed and experienced textile scientist/antique garment restorer and seamstress, and I very, very carefully note any and all condition issues or repairs to every piece of antique/vintage clothing that I'm selling, so I can't stress enough that even if they're in pristine condition, remember they are all decades old and NOT new clothing, so if you desire modern perfection please don't purchase vintage! I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties!

Measurements are as follows:
Bust 37", definitely no larger than that, the inner dress fits perfectly on the mannequin which is a 36" bust. (This is the measurement of the inner bodice layer) The outer bodice is a free size, kimono/batwing sleeves and open to a V at the front, showing the underbodice of floral silk.
Waist max: 35-36", elastic is stretched out.
Hip: open, skirt is very full, flowy and cut on the bias
Skirt length from waist is approx. 29", keep in mind this may fall shorter on longer depending on the size of one's hips
Length is 44" from shoulder to hem; this fits and drapes SO beautifully. Though it's marked a vintage 10 it fits modern sizes much smaller. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and is 36-26-36; it fit the mannequin perfectly so I would suggest only for small or extra small sizes.

Condition: Other than the very narrow elastic at the waist no longer being stretchy I can't find a flaw on it, excellent condition and clean, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, just gorgeous! Silk fabric still has a wonderful original finish and quality to it. Labels are intact, designer's "The Silk Farm Designed by Icinoo" label, plus marked a (vintage) size 10. Has a 60" matching sheer silk chiffon sash/belt (not shown in photos)
