Fabulous Vintage April Cornell - Elegant Ivory Glass Beaded 1920's Style Deco Dress - Summer Wedding or Tea Party - Gatsby Summer Afternoon

Fantastic and very 1920s style vintage 1990s April Cornell size M rayon chiffon dress that is extensively beaded with gorgeous super-sparkly AB glass beads! This dress looks sooo 1920's flapper era! Fully lined in ivory rayon. Beautifully made with lovely details such as French seams and an invisible zipper at center back. Such an exquisite, very detailed dress and also very comfortable to wear; is in excellent vintage condition, looks never worn. This would be a PERFECT summer wedding, formal tea or garden party gown.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings.

Size tag is M but please go by the measurements below.

Bust max: fits up to about 40", no larger than that
Waist measures about 36", hips 42"
Length is 43" from shoulder to hem while on the hanger; the dress fits and drapes SO beautifully on the body as you can see. Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36); it fits the mannequin as shown with room to spare especially in the bust, in fact I would say the mannequin is too thin for the dress. I think best for an 8/10, no larger.

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, it is in excellent unworn-looking condition. Professionally cleaned, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, no missing or loose beads. Just gorgeous! Designer's own April Cornell for Cornell Trading tag, marked an M.
