Exquisite 1930s style Vintage Ralph Lauren - Intricate Pink Appliqued Cotton Lace and Pink Silk Satin - Summer Wedding - Garden Party Gown

Fabulous vintage never-worn 1990s-does-1930s Ralph Lauren green-label ethereal, sweeping net lace gown with a full attached underdress of pure silk satin, this beauty is SO perfect for a summer/beach wedding or other formal event! Light pink pure cotton net lace is intricately applied with gorgeous freeform applique floral designs front and back, over a bias-cut shimmery pink silk satin underdress. Rounded V-neck dips to a low back. Beautifully made with lovely details such as small inner snap straps on each inside shoulder to hold a bra/foundation garment in place. The skirt flares to substantial fullness at the bottom--very 1930's looking! Such an exquisite, very detailed dress; is vintage never worn, without tags. (I did professionally clean the dress because it has been hanging in a closet for several decades, however it has never been worn) This would be a PERFECT summer wedding, tea or garden party gown!

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings.

Size tag says 10 but please go by the measurements below, this fits more like a 6/8.

Bust max: fits up to about 36", no larger than that
Length is 58" from shoulder to hem while on the hanger; this a bias cut dress and will hang shorter than that on a human body! the dress fits and drapes SO beautifully as you can see. Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36); it fits the mannequin perfectly as shown. I think best for a size 6/8, no larger.

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, it is in fresh, never-worn condition. Very clean, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, Just gorgeous! Designer's own Ralph Lauren green label tag, marked 100% cotton/100% silk.
