Beautiful Antique-Inspired Downton Style Dress - NWOT- Edwardian Style - Gorgeous Glass Beadwork - Black Rayon Georgette w Jewel Tones

Beautiful and very elegant special occasion dress in midnight black rayon georgette, with gorgeous beadwork and sequin work at the front of neckline and hem. (Colors of the beadwork/sequins is darker and more subtle than the camera could pick up, they are much more rich deep tones than bright ones) This dress has an Edwardian feeling to it, in fact it reminds me of some of the gowns worn by "Lady Mary" in Downton Abbey's first season. Raised waist and elbow length sleeves finished off with a delicate ruffle on the edge. Fully lined in shimmery black rayon, has back ties to adjust the fit. I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings.

Measurements of this wonderful dress are as follows:
Bust and raised waistline on the dress measure 38"---wearer's measurements should be 36-37" or smaller.
Length is 54" from shoulder to hem. This fits well on my size 6/8 mannequin (36-26-36), fit can be adjusted with the back ties. I would recommend this for no larger than an 8, maybe a 10 depending on bust measurement.
Condition: Pristine, new without tags, no stains, spots or rips/holes, clean, I cannot find any issues. No missing beads.
