Enchanting 1980s does 1930s Silk Chiffon Designer Nancy Johnson Candy Pink Fairycore Garden Party Dress Vintage-Size 14

An absolutely DIVINE 100% silk super-floaty chiffon, flowing many-layered rich-bohemian dress in delicious candy pink by the one and only Nancy Johnson, whose gorgeous vintage-inspired designs graced the pages of famed Victoria magazine in the 1980s (Victoria magazine, August 1988, pgs. 76-87)---her beautiful fabrics and very vintage style designs are strongly reminiscent of 1920's and 1930's style. This one is just mouthwateringly gorgeous with its soft, cascading silk layers of light pink and the palest of lavender print--all of the fabrics Nancy used in her creations have such a wonderful vintage look. Super full, intricately constructed handkerchief hemmed silk chiffon double skirt that features an asymmetrical hem of tons and tons of scarf-like points, lined bodice, double layered fluted-handkerchief sleeves. I'm a degreed and experienced textile scientist/antique garment restorer and seamstress, and I very, very carefully note any and all condition issues or repairs to every piece of antique/vintage clothing that I'm selling, so I can't stress enough that even if they're in pristine condition, remember they are all decades old and NOT new clothing, so if you desire modern perfection please don't purchase vintage! I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties!

Measurements of this sublime dress are as follows:
Bust measures 40", wearer's measurement should be no larger than 38".
Waist: 34"--again, wearer's waist should be no larger than 30-31"; this bodice should fit comfortably/lightly, not snugly!
Hip: 42", " " hip measurement should be no larger than 40".

Length varies from 46"to 52" from shoulder to hem depending on the measurement at the shortest and longest hem points; this fits and drapes SO beautifully on the body for a multitude of sizes. I believe this could fit from a modern size 10-12 to possibly a smaller-busted 14 (but check measurements to be sure!), definitely no larger than that.

Condition: Excellent condition, no stains, spots or rips/holes, clean, no staining or underarm discoloration, I cannot find any issues whatsoever. Beautiful fabric that looks very 1930s! Labels intact, "Nancy Johnson", 100% silk and a vintage size 14 tag.
