April Cornell New With Tags Vintage - Adorable Red Polka Dots -1990s Does 1940s/50s Rockabilly Plus Size Dress - Cottagecore - Back Ties

Another wonderful vintage 1990s April Cornell dress that is simply adorable! It's SOOO 1940's/50's in style, very adjustable in sizing and the detailing is just fabulous: wonderful soft lightweight woven red cotton with ivory polka dots; this is NEW vintage with the original tags and an extra mother of pearl button. The pattern and the styling just look so authentically vintage, and what makes this even better and updated are the back ties that cinch the waist in to your individual waist measurement. Beautifully made with lovely detailing as April Cornell dresses were known for back in the day. This would be great to wear to a vintage party, a vintage car show or 50's themed event, or even a vintage 1940's-50's dance--it's super comfortable and would look smashing with a red dotted headband, some red platform shoes, bakelite jewelry and of course red lipstick! Has great mother of pearl shell buttons and cap style sleeves. Marked an XXL and is generously cut.

Marked XXL, please go by the measurements below. Vintage April Cornell dresses are often generously sized and this one is very roomy/adjustable with the back ties.

Bust: measures 48", fits up to about 44/45", no larger than that.
Waist: measures 46", fits up to 44", no larger than that; can be made much smaller by tying the back ties as you can see on the mannequin.
Length is approx 44" from shoulder to hem while on the hanger; . Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36) and is much too small for the dress; but like many April Cornell vintage dresses, the fit can be beautifully adjusted with the back ties. I'd say best for up to a 16, but double check measurements to be sure!

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress; it is very clean and Vintage NEW with the original tags and an extra button.
