Super-adorable vintage 1990s April Cornell dress with the most wonderful Victorian style print of heart-shaped fans and pink flowers on ruby red cotton and flax (linen type fiber) woven blend. Beautifully made with lovely details such as curved, shaped banding at neckline and armholes; attached back ties. Such a timeless, beautiful and wearable vintage style, with a softly drapey line that clings to the body-very vintage looking! PERFECT Valentine's Day, wedding, tea or garden party dress! Excellent condition. Sweater/jewelry shown with the dress is NOT included, photographed just to show how you could possibly accessorize this beauty!

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties!

Though marked a M, please go by the measurements below! This is a woven fabric and does not have any stretch.

Bust and waist max: fits up to about 36", no larger than that. Dress measures 38" at bust and waist. Hip measures 42" so wearer's hips should not be more than 40". Fit is adjustable with the back ties.
Length is 50" from shoulder to hem while on the hanger; this measurement will be a little shorter on a human figure; the dress fits and drapes SO beautifully on the body as you can see. Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36).

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, it has been freshly cleaned, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, Just gorgeous! Labels are intact, with the designer's own April Cornell tag.
