Vintage 1930s 40s Style Red Pink Roses Floral Garden Party Tea Dance Dress - Starina Woven Rayon - Fit and Flare w Laced Corset Style Back

Beautiful vintage rayon 1990's full flared-skirt dress of soft woven rayon printed in a Victorian, nostalgic floral of red, pink and ivory roses on a pearl gray background--just a delicious design! Very well made with princess seams, a full flaring skirt and close fitting bodice that you can adjust the fit on by means of the back "corset" style lacing. Buttons all the way down the front. I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties!

Though marked a vintage M, please go by the measurements below. This is woven rayon and does not stretch.

Bust: dress measures 38", wearer should be no larger than 36-37"
Waist: dress measures 32" at widest unlaced width, wearer should be at least 1-2 inches smaller than that. Also, the waist has a laced corset style (see photo) at the back to make the waist fit more closely if desired.
Length on the hanger is 48" from shoulder to hem. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6, the dress fits very well on it; I feel this dress is most suited up to about a size 8/10, no larger.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no issues whatsoever that I can see; freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Buttons down the front.
