Beautiful vintage rayon 1990's super full flared-skirt dress of rayon crepe printed in a gorgeous nostalgic floral of purples and greens on an orchid pink background--just a delicious design! The crepe is high quality and very much like the crepe in vintage April Cornell dresses---this dress is from "Olivia". Very well made with princess seams, a full flaring skirt inset with godets of another coordinating print and a hemline edged with beautiful orchid pink antique-style lace. I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Though marked a vintage M, please go by the measurements below.

Bust: dress measures 43", wearer should be no larger than 40"
Waist: dress measures 36" at widest width, wearer should be at least 1-2 inches smaller than that.
The skirt is very full, flaring and twirly with the inset godets and has yards and yards of lovely lace edging!
Length on the hanger is 51" from shoulder to hem. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6, the dress fits fine on it with several inches to spare; I feel this dress is most suited up to about a size 10, possibly a 12 but measurements should be checked carefully.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no issues whatsoever that I can see; freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Slips on over the head, no fastenings.
