Vintage MOD 1990s Designer Sandy Starkman - Fabulous GLAM Beaded Sequined Jeweled Bohemian Blue and Purple Denim Jacket -- L

A stunning and beautifully made, ultra-glam sequined and beaded classically-styled denim jacket by designer Sandy Starkman, well known for her exquisite unusual materials, layering of different elements, bohemian designs and embroideries. Starkman jackets are very collectible as well....So gorgeous and attention-grabbing, with extensive and intricate glass beadwork and sequins outlining the very MOD purple and blue designs, plus strips of blue trim highlighting the vintage-jean-jacket design! Very ingenious design that is rather similar in style/pattern to the classic silhouette of classic short denim jackets, which appears often in Starkman designs. This would be so fabulous over a blue or purple bodysuit (and fantastic if worn on stage as the sequins are super glimmery)! The sequin and beadwork is ornate and gorgeous, all over the entire surface of the jacket----unique! Very soft cotton denim, fully lined in hand dyed silky rayon. I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Chest measures 42" on the OUTSIDE, closed. (Inside will be smaller by at least 1") I would suggest wearer have no larger than a 39-40" bust.
Waist: 40"
Sleeves are 24" from shoulder to cuff edge.
Length is 22.5" from shoulder to hem; Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8, the jacket is too loose on the mannequin so I would suggest this for up to a size 10-12, depending on how snug one wants the fit (but carefully check measurements to be sure!)

Condition: Beautiful vintage condition, no rips, spots, stains or other damages , has a Sandy Starkman tag. I'm not seeing any bead or sequin loss.
