This is such a glamorous, yet elegant and high quality vintage NEW with tags jacket, that would be wonderful worn over a simple little dress (or even with jeans) to jazz it up---the rhinestones are just fabulous, sparkly and each one is individually hand sewn on; beautiful tailoring and detail on this never-worn beauty! Soft sateen-finish cotton with a little spandex content for stretch, beautifully sewn and tailored with shaped seaming. The rhinestone decoration is ornate and gorgeous, all down the front, back neckline and front flap pockets, and all hand sewn on----unique! Pristine vintage-new condition, marked a vintage 14 which seems a bit smaller than a contemporary 14--please check measurements. Has attached tag containing extra rhinestones.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Size tag is a vintage 14; please check measurements!
Chest measures 40" on the OUTSIDE, closed. (Inside will be smaller by at least 1") I would suggest wearer have no larger than a 36-38" bust. This has a one-hook front closure.
Waist: 38"
Sleeves are 24" from shoulder to cuff edge.
Length is 23" from shoulder to hem; Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8, the jacket is too loose on the mannequin so in my opinion a modern 10, possibly a 12, depending on how snug one wants the fit, would fit this best (but carefully check measurements to be sure!) This has shaped seaming and a tiny bit of stretch.

Condition: Beautiful vintage new with tag condition, no rips, spots, stains, odors or other issues; from "Midnight Velvet" and has an attached tag with extra rhinestones.
