Absolutely lovely vintage April Cornell dress with a definite feeling of the 1920s/30s, this beauty is just scrumptious with its exquisite print of delicate pink flowers and dots on sheer, flowing pale pink rayon chiffon, with a matching slip of the softest brushed pink rayon. High quality, beautiful rayon fabrics and details that April Cornell has become known and loved for.....this dress also has roomy inset side pockets and button-on back ties! Beautifully made with lovely accents such as tiny glass beads all along the semi-surplice-style bodice. Such a timeless, beautiful and wearable vintage style, with a softly drapey A-line skirt and short fluttery sleeves. In absolutely excellent, like-new condition. This would be a PERFECT wedding, tea or garden party gown or to wear to a historical-themed event like the Gatsby Summer Afternoon!

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Though marked an M, please go by the measurements below! April Cornell dresses are often generously sized and this may accommodate some M/L sizes.
For best fit, the wearer's own measurements should be at LEAST 1-2" smaller than these:
Slip Bust: pit to pit measures approx. 40"
Slip Waist: approx. 38-39"
The slip has adjustable straps.
The overdress itself measures approx. 2-3" larger than these slip measurements; it slips on over the head with a one-snap closure to keep the crossover/surplice bodice closed.
Length is 49" from shoulder to hem while on the hanger. Beautiful, softly draped fit! This was one of April Cornell's best designs because it's so flattering and features such exquisite fabric.

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, it is like new and looks never worn, Very clean, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, Just gorgeous! Labels are intact, with the designer's own April Cornell tags on both the dress and the slip.
