Wonderful Vintage April Cornell 1990s Dress/Jumper - Coral and Navy Floral - Beautiful Rayon Moss Crepe Multi-Season Dress - Size M/L

Such a beautiful and very classic April Cornell dress/jumper that is extremely versatile: you could wear this with a little knit long sleeved top underneath in fall/winter, then change to just wearing a jacket or sweater over the dress by itself when Spring approaches. A timeless, beautiful and wearable vintage style, and the look is so very vintage! Has a raised waist, A-line skirt with several soft pleats at the top and button-on back ties to adjust the fit or leave off completely. Wonderful, high quality rayon fabric that April Cornell calls "moss crepe"--it's much more substantial than regular crepe, has a soft, "brushed" appearance, texture and feel very much like challis, and was featured in many of her fall/winter pieces in the past. The print is absolutely gorgeous, stylized cornucopias in coral and brown on a very deep charcoal-ish navy blue background---fabulous and imaginative combination (April's prints are without equal!) In absolutely excellent condition. This would be a perfect addition to your wardrobe, dressing it up or down depending on what you pair with it---it's a truly awesome multi-season piece. Has buttoned detachable back ties to adjust the fit; marked M but please check measurements below.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Though marked an M, please go by the measurements below:

Bust: measures 42" at bust, fits up to about 40-41", no larger than that. (You need to allow at least two inches added to your own body measurements for proper fit.)
Raised waistline measures 40".
Length is 54" from shoulder to hem while on the hanger; the dress fits and drapes SO beautifully on the body as you can see. Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36), the dress is roomy on the mannequin but can easily be adjusted down to fit with the button-on back ties.

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, NO spots, stains, rips, holes, odors or damages, just gorgeous and the fabric/colors are fantastic! Labels are intact, with the designer's own April Cornell tag. Marked M.
