Stunning and beautifully made, classic April Cornell lightweight coat in medium blue with extensive floral embroidery on the bodice, collar, front hem and sleeves. Wonderful styling details like side pockets, an Empire waistline and three large mother of pearl buttons. Exquisite styling with pleats at the back and front. Fabric is a medium weight, woven 100% cotton twill that has a very soft, almost "stonewashed" or weathered feel. Bodice area is lined in matching woven cotton. Gorgeous bohemian piece that is perfect for early spring! In excellent condition.

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. There is NO SMOKING whatsoever in this establishment and never has been. Everything is very diligently inspected before it is shipped to you, carefully wrapped in new tissue, and I only ship in NEW USPS boxes, NOT flimsy bags or crammed into careless packaging (which seems to be widespread nowadays but I really hate to see when I'm the recipient!) I respect clothing and I ship it the way I would want it shipped to me.

Marked "XL" ; please check measurements as this will definitely fit a large as well.
Chest measures 48" on the OUTSIDE, closed. (Inside will be smaller by at least 1") I would suggest wearer have no larger than a 44-45" bust.
Raised waist area measures 46"
Sleeves are 22" from shoulder seam to cuff edge.
Length is 37" from shoulder to hem; Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8, I believe this coat could fit up to a 16 (but check measurements to be sure!)

Condition: Excellent, no rips, spots, stains, odors or other damages that I can see, has April Cornell's original designer tags.
