April Cornell Vintage Inspired - Pink and Ivory Embroidered Lace Tea Dress - Garden Party 90s does 20s Dress - Sz XXL

Exquisite soft ivory with lavish pink embroidery vintage 1990s April Cornell size XXL(approx. size 16/18) ethereal embroidered net lace dress, this beauty is SO perfect for a vintage themed wedding or other event! Slightly raised-waist, loose fitting style that slips on over the head; needs a slip underneath (not included)--I have it shown here over a pale pink slip but an ivory one would make the embroidery stand out more. Lovely unworn condition, too. Beautifully made with lovely fine embroidered net lace; extensive and elaborate garlands of arabesques and other floral motifs all over the front and back. Even has button-on-or-off pink back ties to adjust the fit! Such an exquisite dress and also super comfortable to wear; this would be a PERFECT wedding, tea or garden party gown or to wear to an event like the Gatsby Summer Afternoon!

I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. There is NO SMOKING whatsoever in this establishment and never has been. Everything is very diligently inspected before it is shipped to you, carefully wrapped in new tissue, and I only ship in NEW USPS boxes, NOT flimsy bags or crammed into careless packaging (which seems to be widespread nowadays but I really hate to see when I'm the recipient!) I respect clothing and I ship it the way I would want it shipped to me.

Size tag is XXL but please go by the measurements below. This one can be adjusted down in size because of the removable back ties--you could probably cinch this down to an M/L if using the back ties.

Bust measurement is 46" pit to pit. Wearer's bust measurement should be at least one to two inches smaller than that. Length is 52" from shoulder to hem. This is meant to be a loose-fitting dress in 1920's style.
Mannequin is a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36); it fits the mannequin as shown with lots of room to spare, in fact I would say the mannequin is too thin for the dress. I think best for a 10-18 size range, no larger.

Condition: I can find no flaws on this dress, it is in like-new condition. Freshly cleaned, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages, Just gorgeous! Designer's own April Cornell tag, marked XXL.
