Absolutely GORGEOUS vintage-inspired, new with tags 1950's-retro-style dress that is just fabulous in both fabric and fit---if you've ever wanted a genuine 50's dress but the price of vintage has been out of your budget, this dress is for you! Modern construction and very high quality fabric, with very accurate 1950s styling. Made in Australia by "Retrospec'd", a company known for their fine fabrics, retro prints and designs as well as exceptionally well done construction, this has a mock wrap/surplice style bodice with dolman-style sleeves and a wide inset waistband (this dress is awesome for curvy ladies!) plus a very full flared "circle" skirt---stretchy, substantial cotton sateen makes for a beautiful fit. Very high quality sewing and fabric, and it even has side pockets. The colors are scrumptious; a vintage-style print of purple wisteria on a light lavender background. Zips up the back (and the full flared skirt would look even more awesome with a petticoat beneath) Attached original tags, with a price of $146.00! I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties! I'm meticulous about clothing in general so I make quite sure that every piece of vintage clothing I sell is clean, fresh, pressed and in excellent wearable condition---I do not use any fragranced or heavily-chemical products in caring for/cleaning garments and they are carefully stored in climate-controlled closets at all times except for when I am photographing them for listings. This is a NON SMOKING environment and always has been--I do not sell anything that has any kind of odor, nor do I ship clothing stuffed into shipping bags; I use new USPS boxes ONLY and carefully fold/wrap everything in new tissue paper.

Marked a US 16/AUS 20, but please go by the measurements below as I really believe this is more of a US 18; the material does have a little bit of stretch too, so is accommodating!

Bust: dress measures 46" (Wearer's own measurements should be at least 1"- 2" smaller than all measurements stated, for best fit)
Waist: dress measures 40"
Length on the hanger is 46" from shoulder to hem. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8, way too small for the dress.
Condition: Excellent new with tags condition, no issues whatsoever that I can see; fabric is crisp and perfect. Side pockets. Original label and sales tags intact.
